92 - x2 Developers Citizen Event Analytics (Python)

Overview

We are looking for experienced Consultant Developers to join a high impact central government project. This role involves working on advanced analytics and integration projects that support critical citizen services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain solutions leveraging AWS services and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Work with Apache Spark and Python for data processing and analytics.
• Implement workflows using Airflow and containerization with Docker.
• Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines via GitLab.
• Integrate security scanning tools (eg, Trivy, Trend Micro, Wiz) into development workflows.
• Utilize Jupyter Notebooks for data exploration and analysis.
• Collaborate with DWP Integration Team to integrate products such as Data Access Layer and Secure File Transfer (SFT).

Requirements

• Proven experience with AWS services and Terraform.
• Strong skills in Apache Spark, Python, and Airflow.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with security scanning agents and best practices.
• Knowledge of Jupyter Notebooks and data integration processes.
• Active SC clearance (mandatory).
