Data Migration & Power Platform Specialist – D365 CE, Dataverse & Power Apps, Power BI

£60-65K

Predominately remote working (1-2 days per month in Birmingham)

We're looking for a Data Migration & Power Platform Specialist with strong experience delivering data migration projects into Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365 CE), Dataverse and Power Apps.

This role is primarily focused on data migration and ensuring high-quality, accurate data is successfully migrated from legacy systems into Microsoft business applications. You'll work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to support data mapping, transformation, validation and reconciliation activities across a range of D365 CE and Power Platform projects.

Whilst Power BI experience is beneficial, the emphasis is on hands-on migration experience within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end data migration solutions into Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse and Power Apps.
• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards where required.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation and reconciliation activities.
• Support migration projects from a variety of source systems into Microsoft platforms.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries to support migration and data quality activities.
• Work with stakeholders to understand data structures, migration requirements and business objectives.
• Support migration cutovers and post-migration validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Utilise Azure technologies such as Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake and Fabric to support migration and reporting requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering successful data migration projects.
• Hands-on experience migrating data into Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse and/or Power Apps.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data mapping, transformation and data cleansing.
• Experience performing data validation, reconciliation and post-migration quality checks.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Experience working with Azure data technologies including Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse or Fabric.
• Exposure to Power BI reporting, dashboards and data modelling.
