Data Team Lead

Here at Harvey Nash, our client is recruiting a Data Team Lead to join their team on a full-time basis in Scotland.

The successful candidate will lead a small team of engineers specialising in visualisations, as well as the design and development of complex dashboards and features that support our clients products. This role involves conceptualising new dashboards, identifying data sources, developing complex queries to extract and manipulate data, and creating innovative visualisation solutions. In addition, the candidate will provide leadership to the team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

I’m looking to speak with a self-driven candidate who has a can-do attitude, a strong background in analytics, and a keen interest in self-development. The ideal candidate will be have previous experience in a leading a team and have a good working knowledge of dashboard and feature development utilising Grafana.

Other desirable criteria include:

• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS).
• Knowledge of network protocols.
• Experience with Splunk, including Splunk Query Language (SPL).
• Proficiency in SQL.
• A background in Data Science or Machine Learning.
