Head of Technology Programme Delivery

Harvey Nash Executive Search is delighted to be partnering with our Glasgow based client to appoint a new Head of Technology Programme Delivery. This is classic hybrid role, within a private sector client where the successful individual will be responsible for overseeing the deliver of complex Technology Programmes globally for our client. The appointed individual will help build out maturity across their programme function, be personally responsible for the delivery of key IT programmes and run the key relationships with their third party suppliers.

This role is on site in Glasgow, non negotiable so we are looking for locally based candidates who can commit to working on our client site on the outskirts of the city.

As this is a fast paced, medium sized private sector environment we are looking for candidates from a similar background.

Your experience will be specific to technology, having progressed from a technical background into the most senior level of Programme Delivery.

• Extensive experience as a permanent Head of Programme Delivery.
• A hybrid background spanning programme planning & delivery.
• Experience working to C-level – this is a senior, strategic appointment.
• Specific experience of delivering IT programmes – must include Infrastructure; networks; Cloud Transformation, ERP and applications.
• Current and extensive experience within fast paced medium sized private sector – such as Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing or Utilities.
• Experience of creating the appropriate governance frameworks to include budgeting, risk management; reporting etc.
• Highly skilled in change management within a wider business context; supporting the business through a new approach to programme planning & delivery.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work to all levels within an organisation.
• Onsite role in Glasgow – not negotiable.
