IT Business Analyst

Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the role of IT Business Analyst, a 6-month contract:

• Havant location 2 days a week (our client can also consider Reading as a location)
• £550 - £650 a day - inside of IR35
• Working within a highly regulated back office setting
• Application Migration

The Role:

• Work hands-on with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban), running sprint planning, stand-ups, retros, and show-and-tells using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira or Confluence.
• Apply your understanding of the energy sector, with trading knowledge considered an advantage.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis across cloud migration activity: reviewing architecture, integration points, data flows and assessing whether existing integrations are required or still fit the current landscape.
• Support the migration of settlement systems, including reviewing multiple system integrations and ensuring alignment to our clients architecture.

What is required for this role:

• Strong technical background, ideally within a regulated back-office or energy environment.
• Experience working on cloud migrations (Azure + AWS).
• Ability to "hold court" with SMEs, architects and engineers to extract requirements and challenge thinking where needed.
• Excellent documentation, reporting and analytical skills.
• Experience with settlement systems (SONET experience is a bonus)
