Senior Full‑Stack C# Developer/Team Lead – London (Hybrid)

**Guide salary circa 130-170k + bens/bonus – Commodities trading background is essential**

A leading global trading business is expanding its London technology team and is looking for a lead developer to help build and evolve enterprise‑scale trading and risk systems.

This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working with modern technologies, and contributing to a collaborative agile environment.

The role:

  • Leading development within a cross‑functional Scrum team
  • Designing, building and enhancing full‑stack applications used across global trading desks
  • Contributing to solution architecture and engineering strategy
  • Driving best practices, code quality, testing standards and CI/CD discipline
  • Mentoring and supporting developers across the full SDLC

Experience required:

  • Circa 10+ years’ software development experience, ideally with recent team‑lead responsibilities
  • Strong full‑stack expertise: C#, .NET 8+, Angular 16+, Typescript, SQL Server, REST APIs
  • Experience with NHibernate/Entity Framework, Git, Jira, Confluence
  • Ability to navigate complex multi‑system environments
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Background in commodity trading (essential)
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
