I’m currently hiring for a 12-month contract opportunity with Meta for a Network Production Engineer (IC5).

This is a great opportunity for an experienced network engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of networking, Python, automation and large-scale infrastructure.

🔹 Location: London,UK

🔹 Working model: Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite

🔹 Contract: 12 months

🔹 Start: ASAP

🔹 Experience: 7+ years

What we're looking for:

✅ Strong Python development experience

✅ Strong networking fundamentals – BGP, MPLS, TCP/IP

✅ Experience with network automation & provisioning

✅ Strong Linux experience

✅ Experience with network devices – Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Nokia or similar

✅ Experience with Ansible / CI/CD is a plus

✅ Comfortable using AI tools to support coding and automation

What you'll be doing:

🔹 Building automation for network provisioning and deployment

🔹 Developing automated testing frameworks for network platforms

🔹 Troubleshooting complex network and software issues

🔹 Supporting the qualification and rollout of new network products

🔹 Working with engineering teams across different time zones

🔹 Helping scale and automate a global network environment
