The Opportunity

We are looking for a high-performing Manager to join a growing Value Creation team within Advisory Transaction Services. This role sits at the forefront of expanding the firm’s M&A value creation and deal advisory capabilities.

The team works across the full deal lifecycle — from pre-deal operational and technology due diligence through to post-deal integration, separation, and value realization programs.

This position offers the opportunity to lead high-impact engagements, work closely with senior stakeholders, and contribute to building a fast-growing advisory practice.

The Role

As a Manager, you will lead and deliver value creation engagements across the deal continuum, working with cross-functional teams and clients to unlock value from transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Delivery

  • Lead workstreams across operational and technology due diligence engagements
  • Support and manage post-merger integration and separation programmes
  • Deliver value creation and performance improvement initiatives
  • Manage day-to-day delivery of assignments
  • Support project and programme management, including reporting and governance
  • Draft and agree scopes of work, budgets, and fee proposals
  • Ensure completion of risk management procedures
  • Review and prepare client reports and deliverables
  • Coordinate and manage subject matter experts across service lines

Team Leadership

  • Oversee and review work of junior team members
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring
  • Support capability building and team development as the practice grows

Business Development

  • Support preparation of pitch documents and client proposals
  • Drive business development initiatives, including CRM and pipeline management
  • Develop expertise in selected industry sectors
  • Build strong internal relationships across advisory teams
  • Support cross-selling and service development initiatives
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives, including integration of AI tools into engagements

About You

  • Proven experience in Transaction Services, M&A Value Creation, Post-Merger Integration, or Separation
  • Experience delivering operational or technology due diligence engagements
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills (Power BI or similar tools advantageous)
  • Experience supporting or leading business development initiatives
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field
  • Professional qualifications such as MBA, ACA/ACCA, CFA, or Corporate Finance Diploma are desirable
