Senior Test Analyst (API & Integration Testing) – Contract
Location: Milton Keynes (2-3 days onsite per week)
Rate: £390-£400 per day
Contract: Outside IR35
The Role
Our customer, a leading automotive organisation, is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to support a major transformation programme involving system integrations, API-driven applications, and data migration activities.
Working closely with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of business-critical systems through comprehensive testing across multiple platforms and integrations.
Essential Experience
- Strong commercial experience in API, Integration, and Manual Testing
- Hands-on experience with Postman
- Experience testing complex system integrations and interfaces
- Data Migration testing experience, including data validation and reconciliation
- Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle and defect management
- Experience supporting UAT activities
- Agile delivery experience
- Automotive sector experience
Skills & Technical Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent test planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Ability to challenge assumptions and identify risks, issues, and gaps
- Basic SQL skills for data validation and investigation
- Understanding of middleware concepts and message flows
- Ability to troubleshoot defects across multiple systems
- Comfortable working independently and within wider project teams
