Solutions Architect (Google Cloud) – Pre-Sales Focus

Remote (UK) – predominantly remote with occasional London / Manchester travel

Circa £100,000 + package / Commision

Work on the kind of problems most teams walk away from.

We’re partnering with a high-performing, Google Cloud–focused technology consultancy that’s trusted by global brands when delivery really matters. This isn’t routine consulting — it’s complex, high-impact work across cloud, data, and AI.

They’re now looking for a Solutions Architect to take a leading role in pre-sales, shaping cloud engagements and helping customers turn technical challenges into real business outcomes.

The Role

You’ll act as the technical voice in pre-sales, partnering closely with commercial teams to win and shape new business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Owning and shaping Statements of Work (SoWs) and high-level designs
  • Engaging directly with senior stakeholders (CTOs, Heads of Engineering)
  • Designing solutions across infrastructure, application modernisation, data, and AI on Google Cloud
  • Collaborating with internal SMEs (platform, security, data) in a matrix environment
  • Accelerating deals by translating complex technical requirements into clear business outcomes

What They’re Looking For

You’ll likely be a strong fit if you:

  • Have hands-on pre-sales experience, including owning or contributing to SoWs
  • Can design across multiple areas of Google Cloud (infrastructure, modernisation, data, AI)
  • Are comfortable running multiple engagements in parallel
  • Thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments
  • Can confidently engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Experience with Google Workspace / Chrome Enterprise in a commercial or advisory capacity

Why This Role

  • High-impact work across complex, high-value cloud engagements
  • Close alignment with Google Cloud
  • Opportunity to influence deals and shape solutions end-to-end
  • Strong investment in learning, certifications, and career progression
  • Predominantly remote working with an excellent overall package
