We are currently working on a Project Manager opportunity within a leading AI research organisation. The role will support ambitious AI research programmes and work closely with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects are well structured, prioritised and delivered effectively, while working across Research, Engineering, Product, Legal and Policy teams.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional teams to communicate research plans, progress and results.
Translate strategy into structured project plans and drive execution.
Manage project priorities, timelines, dependencies, risks and mitigations.
Track project progress and provide clear status updates and metrics to stakeholders.
Identify and remove blockers to support successful project delivery.
Manage interdependencies across projects and ensure key objectives remain on track.
Analyse data and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions.
Communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Support teams through changes resulting from research projects and new initiatives.
Required Experience
Experience in Project Management, Programme Management or Technical Project Management.
Hands-on experience or strong exposure to Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Recommendation Systems, Pattern Recognition or Data Mining.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proven experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Track record of delivering projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
Direct experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Experience working within AI/ML research environments.
Experience managing remote or distributed
