Contract: 4 months (potential extension)

Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Location: Work based in a hospital

Role Overview:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Help Desk Operator to provide an effective and professional service desk support within the hospital. The role involves handling enquiries, providing administrative support, and ensuring smooth operation of the service desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and log calls, directing them to operational staff and reporting back to users
  • Support the planned maintenance programme, including processing job dockets
  • Provide general administrative and reception support
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation while maintaining confidentiality
  • Provide weekend and holiday cover as required
  • Support the Service Desk Supervisor in delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in team development, meetings, and provide feedback to supervisors
  • Assist with car park enquiries and documentation as needed
  • Comply with Health & Safety and company policies

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a help desk, customer service, or administrative support role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Confident in using IT systems and software
