Elastic Consultant - Electronic Trading - 700/day GBP

Position: ElasticSearch Consultant (ELK stack / ILM)

Industry: Investment Banking (Global Financial)

Day rate contract position: 700/day (inside IR35)

Initial contract length of 6 months

Location: Central London

Hybrid working: 3 days at their London office

Our client are a Global Investment Bank and they need an Engineer with extensive Elastic stack experience, as well as a strong understanding of index lifecycle management (ILM).

What else is needed....

• Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats)
• Experience managing & integrating ELK infrastructure
• Index lifecycle management (ILM)
• IP networking and data flow
• Data pipeline creation, performance tuning of Logstash and Beats

A nice to have....

• Corvil and/or Pico tools
• APIs (REST/JSON/XML); Python and/or PowerShell to automate ELK deployment
• Exposure to Solace, 29West, Tibco
• ITRS Geneos and their integration with ELK
• Linux systems, containers, and cloud-native observability stacks.

This day rate contract is initially for 6 months with a view to extend. The day rate is 700/day GBP inside IR35.
