KDB Developer - Contract /£500per day inside IR35/ London - Hybrid working

Hawksworth are now hiring for a Junior KDB Developer for an eFX team for a Global European Investment Bank in London. This is a 1 year contract paying up to £500 per day inside IR35. The client is based in central London, and they work a hybrid working model (x3 days in the office, x2 days at home per week). There is a strong chance for extensions as a long-term assignment.

Mandatory key skills:

• Solid experience with Q/KDB+ creating and managing large KDB stacks.
• Knowledge about software delivery process and methodologies.
• UNIX OS knowledge.

Desirable skills :

• Clear communication & systematic reasoning.
• Have front office knowledge of the FX business or quantitative finance.
• Knowledge of data visualisation tools like Altair Panopticon or Power BI would be a distinct advantage
