Snr. Software Developer (C# / React / Typescript/ FX Options) - £700 -£900pd Inside IR35

Hawksworth UK are representing a respected European Investment Bank to recruit a ‘ Senior Developer – FX Options Risk & Valuation Systems' for an initial 6 month assignment.

Hybrid working - x3 days in the office per week (London) and x2 days remote per week.

Rate inside IR35 to the umbrella company - £700 - £900per day.

We are looking for a highly capable Senior Developer to join our Front Office FX Options Technology team. You will play a key role in building and enhancing the systems used by the global FX Options Trading desk for risk, valuation, and real‐time decision support. The platform is approximately three years old, built with modern technologies, and remains in rapid, high‐impact development.

This is a hands‐on role working directly with Trading, Quant, and Technology colleagues across London, Hong Kong and New York. You will contribute to the full stack: TypeScript/React UI, C# services, PostgreSQL, and pricing services integrating with quant libraries.

Required experience:

• Degree educated in a IT related subject
• Expert in Software development
• Solid understanding of Mathematics as applied to derivatives risk and pricing.
• Expert C#
• Expert in Typescript / React
• Proficient in Quant Library integration
• Used to working in a faced paced Agile environment
• Front-Office experience with direct contact with Traders
• Any experience with interacting with APIs and web services interfaces.
