Position: Technical Support Engineer (Zend Framework / PHP)
Company: Global Software company - DevOps / version control / Security
Salary: 50k-55k GBP

Do you have experience supporting and troubleshooting PHP-based applications, such as Zend Framework, across Linux and Windows environments

Our client are the most impressive software company.....that you may never have heard of....even NASA use some of their software, the list goes on!

We are seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer with expertise supporting the PHP-based application, Zend Framework.

In this role you will provide technical support for our client's environment, working on both Linux and Windows servers....and IBM iSeries mainframe...but this isn't essential. What would also be a nice to have, is database experience, ideally on mainframe, but hey, they're not expecting everything!

What does your day look like?

Represent our client as the first point of contact
Help customers by demonstrating your expertise in PHP
Diagnose and troubleshoot performance and integration issues

Tech know-how: • 5+ years in tech support • Hands-on experience with PHP related technology • Linux and Windows server experience • IBM iSeries experience • Basic networking and shell scripting
