Location: London
Work Pattern: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + equity
The Opportunity:
Hawkwood is partnering confidentially with a fast-scaling AI company that is transforming how global brands conduct large-scale customer research and insight.
Less than two years old, the business has already achieved approximately €4m in revenue and is backed by leading investors including Y Combinator. The company has recently closed a larger-than-expected $50m Series A, positioning it for a significant phase of growth as it looks to scale towards €40–50m ARR.
Operating exclusively in the enterprise segment, the platform is already used by some of the world’s most recognisable brands across the Fortune 2000.
To support the next phase of growth, the company plans to hire more than 100 people globally, with a significant focus on expanding its London team.
Reporting to the People and Talent Lead, this is an opportunity to join the organisation at a pivotal stage and help build the internal talent function from the ground up. Over the past few months, the People and Talent Lead has established the core operational foundations - implementing HR and payroll infrastructure, launching the company’s ATS (Ashby) and establishing key people operations processes.
The next phase now centres on scaling hiring. This role will play a critical part in building the company’s recruitment engine and supporting rapid expansion across the UK and broader global organisation.
What you'll do:
- Own end-to-end hiring across multiple teams and levels as the organisation scales
- Lead recruitment across a range of functions, with particular focus on commercial and go-to-market roles
- Build outbound sourcing strategies and proactively headhunt senior talent
- Partner closely with hiring managers, senior leaders and founders to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes
- Help establish structure, process and best practices across the hiring lifecycle
- Support the company’s ambitious hiring plans as the business scales rapidly
- Contribute to broader people initiatives including onboarding and employee experience
- Get involved in wider People projects and initiatives as the function continues to evolve
- Experiment with modern sourcing strategies and AI-enabled recruitment tooling
- Continuously refine the company’s talent strategy as the organisation grows
You will bring:
- Experience recruiting within high-growth SaaS, technology or startup environments
- Strong end-to-end recruitment capability across commercial, operational or go-to-market roles
- Proven outbound sourcing and headhunting experience
- High levels of AI fluency, with curiosity about how emerging tools can reshape how talent is identified and engaged
- An interest in innovative sourcing approaches beyond traditional LinkedIn-led recruiting, including outbound campaigns, automation and creative talent mapping
- Comfort operating in early-stage environments where processes are still being built
- The ability to work with autonomy, pace and strong ownership
- A commercially minded approach to hiring, balancing speed with quality
- Curiosity and creativity in how you identify and engage talent
- High levels of energy, resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
