Transformation Programme Lead

Your new company
Our client is a global leader in the healthcare and medical technology sector, developing innovative products that improve the quality of life for millions of people worldwide. With operations spanning more than 130 countries and a strong reputation for research, engineering excellence, and continuous innovation, the organisation remains at the forefront of its industry.

This is an opportunity to join a growing technology function within a highly successful international organisation that invests heavily in its people, digital capability, and long-term innovation. You'll work alongside talented colleagues across multiple disciplines, helping to shape and deliver technology solutions that support a complex and evolving global business.

Your new role
As Transformation Programme Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of a large-scale business transformation programme. Acting as the deputy to the Programme Director, you'll take ownership of day-to-day programme execution, ensuring multiple workstreams remain aligned, on track and focused on achieving agreed business outcomes. You'll maintain visibility of key milestones, risks, dependencies and delivery challenges, escalating significant issues where required and supporting the implementation of decisions made through programme governance forums.

This is a highly collaborative role that works across a broad range of business functions, including Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory and Technology teams. You'll coordinate activities across the programme, bringing together workstream leads and stakeholders to ensure priorities, plans and delivery activities remain aligned. A key aspect of the role will be identifying potential conflicts, bottlenecks and risks, facilitating collaboration between teams and helping drive solutions to keep delivery moving forward.

Working closely with the Programme Director, you'll be responsible for supporting governance processes, ensuring actions and decisions are tracked through to completion, and preparing materials for leadership meetings and steering committee reviews. You'll monitor programme performance against agreed objectives, maintain momentum across complex initiatives and ensure transparency of progress to senior stakeholders.

The role also requires a strong focus on delivery support and intervention. You'll proactively identify emerging risks and challenges, facilitate issue resolution, coordinate recovery plans where objectives are at risk, and help safeguard customer experience, operational performance and overall programme outcomes. Where necessary, you'll escalate matters requiring leadership or Steering Committee intervention to ensure timely decision-making.

Alongside programme delivery responsibilities, you will provide oversight and direction across Business Readiness, Change Management and Internal Communications activities. You'll ensure organisational readiness plans remain aligned to programme priorities and deployment schedules, helping the business successfully adopt change. This includes capturing lessons learned, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring the programme leaves a lasting positive impact on the wider organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have significant experience operating within high-profile, business-critical programmes, engaging senior executives and cross-functional leadership teams to drive alignment, decision-making and successful outcomes. You will be comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organisation and have a demonstrated ability to build consensus across complex multinational environments where priorities, dependencies and challenges must be carefully managed.

A strong background in organisational adoption, business readiness and change management is essential. You'll have experience developing and implementing communication, stakeholder engagement and readiness strategies that support the successful transition to new operating models, processes and ways of working. You will understand how to drive behavioural change at scale and ensure that transformation programmes deliver lasting business benefits beyond technology or process change alone.

We're looking for someone with exceptional communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills who is confident leading workshops, influencing senior leaders and bringing together diverse groups to achieve common objectives. The ability to navigate ambiguity, resolve complex challenges and maintain momentum across multiple workstreams will be key to success in the role.

What you'll get in return
You'll receive competitive compensation and a fantastic benefits package including, bonus, private medical, health cash plan, 25 days holiday, pension scheme, life assurance, access to our Wellness Platform to support you in mental health and wellbeing, a discounted contact lens scheme.
