AI Adoption & Simplification Specialist

Overview We are working with a leading financial services organisation seeking a hands-on AI Adoption & Simplification Specialist to drive their UK transformation agenda. This is a high-impact role focused on accelerating AI adoption (particularly Microsoft Copilot M365) and embedding a culture of simplification across the business.You'll play a pivotal role in turning ideas into delivered outcomes - working directly with senior stakeholders, business teams, and technology functions to implement AI-driven improvements that enhance productivity, reduce cost, and streamline operations.Details:

  • Location - London
  • Rate - £800 - £1000 / day Inside IR35 via Umbrella
  • Duration - Initial 6 months - extension likely
  • Hybrid - 3 days / week in the office

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the adoption of AI tools (including Microsoft Copilot M365), driving engagement and practical usage across teams
  • Identify, shape, and prioritise AI and process improvement initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
  • Take ownership of initiatives from concept through to delivery and benefit realisation
  • Reduce operational inefficiencies through Lean, Agile, and process optimisation techniques
  • Develop and implement KPI frameworks to track AI adoption, productivity gains, and ROI
  • Create clear and impactful reporting, including executive-level insights on AI value and performance
  • Deliver workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities to build AI capability
  • Work cross-functionally with business leaders, technology teams, and change stakeholders to embed sustainable change

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven experience applying AI or automation solutions in a business environment, with demonstrable outcomes
  • Strong background in process improvement, transformation, or operational excellence (Lean/Agile experience beneficial)
  • Experience driving adoption of digital tools such as Microsoft Copilot, M365, or similar platforms
  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on, with a strong delivery focus
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable defining success metrics and tracking business impact
  • Energetic, proactive, and passionate about driving efficiency and continuous improvement.
