Agile Scrum Masters x 2
You will be working for the Financial Services arm of a major automotive client of ours. You will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex IT and business change initiatives using Agile methodologies. The Agile Scrum Master / Lead ensures that teams deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope, while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity. This role supports the business by enabling efficient delivery processes and aligning outcomes with strategic objectives.You will lead Agile delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and products, applying Scrum, Kanban, or scaled Agile frameworks as appropriate. Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews) and ensure adherence to Agile principles. Coach and mentor teams on Agile best practices, promoting continuous improvement and self-organisation. Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritise backlogs, ensuring clarity of requirements and alignment with business goals. Remove delivery impediments and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies across teams. Ensure transparency of progress through effective reporting and metrics (burn-down charts, velocity, delivery KPIs). Drive stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear communication of delivery timelines, scope, and expectations. Champion Agile culture across the organisation, influencing leadership and teams to adopt Agile ways of working. Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to optimise team performance and delivery predictability. Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and data protection standards during delivery. Support budgeting and forecasting for Agile initiatives and ensure cost-effective delivery. Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams, including development, QA, operations, and business stakeholders. Promote continuous improvement by analysing delivery metrics and implementing process enhancements.To be considered for these contract jobs you must be able to evidence proven experience as an Agile Lead or Scrum Master within a Financial Services Client. You will have a strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Agile principles. Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex IT solutions. Proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps). Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and budgets in an Agile context. Demonstrate expertise in facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams on Scrum practices. Have the ability to remove impediments and foster team self-organization. Skilled in tracking and reporting Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, cumulative flow). Experience in servant leadership, enabling teams to deliver value without micromanagement. Strong knowledge of Agile estimation techniques and backlog refinement. Agile certifications would be expected (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP). Experience in scaled Agile environments and enterprise-level transformations. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of data-driven delivery metrics and reporting with a background in IT systems, software development, or data projects.Only candidates that meet the above criteria with the right to work in the UK will be considered. They have a hybrid working policy and expect all contractors to work on site at least 2 days per week (someto9mes more when needed).
