Business Analyst - Process Mapping

Birmingham (Hybrid Work Pattern) Contract Role - April 2026

Hays is currently recruiting a Business Analyst to support a newly formed team within a local authority in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a transformation programme focused on process standardisation and consistency across internal council teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and document 'as-is' processes and map 'to-be' processes
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Lead and support process mapping initiatives
• Apply knowledge of ISO auditing standards
• Work with systems including Oracle

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in business analysis within public sector or similar environments
• Strong background in process improvement and mapping
• Familiarity with ISO standards and auditing frameworks
• Understanding of Oracle systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
