Salary: £38,000 £40,000 Per Annum (Depending on Experience)

This is an office-based role that offers a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package, and the chance to be a core support function across all operating divisions of the Group.

Your new role You will be the central point of contact for the Group Commercial team, focusing on the integrity of key commercial operating systems.This is a diverse role where you will support teams on data analysis, conduct system testing, and ensure adherence to Group policies and procedures.

• System Support: Provide hands-on assistance to the Group Commercial team in maintaining data integrity within our commercial operating system (e.g., COINS/BoQ Resources).
• Liaison: Aid Group Surveying Managers by diagnosing and resolving system-related support tickets, acting as the primary liaison with external suppliers and consultancy teams.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Carry out deep business analysis of cost data and present critical statistical information and ad-hoc cost reports to the senior management team.
• Project Representation: Represent Group Commercial in project meetings or on calls related to systems and business-as-usual activity.
• Administration: Provide essential departmental administration, maintaining filing systems, databases, and general support as required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Numerical & Analytical Skills: Strong numerical ability with a keen eye for detail and proven experience in interpreting and presenting complex cost data analyses to senior stakeholders.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Organisational Excellence: A methodical approach, combining meticulous attention to detail with outstanding organisational skills to consistently deliver high-quality results.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Azure and IT Support Ticketing Software.
• Autonomy: Self-directed in managing your workload within a team setting, exhibiting strong prioritisation skills.
• Experience with COINS or similar commercial operating systems is a distinct advantage.
• Proficiency with Power BI for visualisation and reporting.
• A full, clean Driving Licence is required, as regular travel to divisional offices and construction sites may be necessary.
