Commodities Business Analyst
A leading IT consultancy is currently seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst within Commodities to join their London-based office. The client is expanding their commodities trading capabilities and requires support with data-driven analysis and agile delivery across weather, gas, and supply-demand fundamentals.Job Details:
- Rate - £650-£700 per day Inside IR35 via Umbrella
- Location - London
- Hybrid - 3 days a week in the office
- Start date - ASAP
- Duration - 6 months initialKey requirements:
- Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst within commodities trading is essential.
- Deep understanding of commodity fundamentals such as weather, gas flows, supply/demand balances, and their impact on pricing.
- Proven ability to write clear, structured user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage across business and technical teams.
- Experience working in Agile environments and closely with development teams.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable data insights and technical requirements.t.
