Your new role
As a Supply Computer Science Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging Computer Science and ICT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with some opportunities at Key Stage 5.
• Encourage students to develop their digital literacy, programming and computational thinking skills.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom settings.
• Follow lesson plans provided and maintain continuity of learning.
• Manage behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Computer Science and/or ICT within UK secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of current Computer Science curricula and examination specifications.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Hays.
