Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Data & Analytics Manager leading a team of 5 data and analytic experts. This is a critical role that requires a blend of technical expertise in a deep understanding of people data, compliance reporting, People KPI's and a strong analytical mindset to drive data-informed insights using Power BI and other reporting tools.Essential

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven expertise in Power BI, including data modelling, dashboard design, report development, and advanced analytics and insights.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data flows across the employee lifecycle.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading and developing a team of technical and analytical professionals.
  • Excellent data governance principles and practices, with a strong understanding of GDPR and other relevant data protection legislation.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver tangible business value
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of ResourceLink
  • Knowledge of higher education sector-specific HR reporting requirements (e.g., HESA, ONS).
  • Experience with other business intelligence tools or data warehousing concepts.
