This is an organisation that values technical excellence, architectural integrity, and hands-on innovation, giving you the platform to influence major programmes and deliver real impact.Your new role As a Hands-On Solution Architect, you'll take ownership of designing, building, and validating end-to-end solutions across Kafka / Confluent Kafka, MongoDB, AWS, APIs, and ODS environments. You will combine high level conceptual thinking with detailed design and practical implementation guidance. Driving PoC's, prototypes, solution demos, and technical spikes to ensure architecture decisions aren't just conceptual, but proven in practice. You will also play a central role in architecture governance: contributing to distribution reviews, ensuring standards compliance, preparing approval board submissions, and championing adherence to architectural patterns and guardrails across the streaming & ODS pillar.What you'll need to succeed

• Deep, hands-on expertise in Kafka / Confluent Kafka, MongoDB, AWS, APIs, and Operational Data Stores
• The ability to bring immediate value with a minimal learning curve and backed by demonstrable experience delivering in streaming and ODS environments.
• Proven capability to design, build, validate, and iterate on solutions end-to-end.
• Comfort switching between conceptual architecture, detailed solution design, and implementation level guidance
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a high visibility setting.
• A proactive, autonomous working style, able to clearly articulate design rationale and drive alignment across technical and business teams.
