Digital Designer

Your new company My client are a leading provider of specialised software for complex industrial modelling and optimisation. Their tools support data-driven decision-making across sectors such as energy, resources, and renewables. Experiencing great growth and with plans to expand into new industry sectors, this is an exciting time to join the team as they recruit for a Digital Designer to strengthen their brand imagery online. Please note this role is office-based in Guildford. Your new role As Digital Designer, you will support the development and growth of the brand by creating compelling imagery for online channels. As their first Marketing team hire, you will play a pivotal role in working with the Marketing Director to create a visual identity and translate complex information into a compelling narrative, telling the story of their complex products through videos and images. You will create content for the website and B2B social channels (primarily LinkedIn and YouTube), as well as various other channels including blogs, newsletters and case studies. You'll support the growing Marketing team with assets and content for digital channels, campaigns, events etc. and be at the forefront of developing the brand's visual identity. What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced designer with a professional history creating both video and graphic assets. You will be proficient with graphic design and web design software packages, e.g., Adobe, Figma etc. You will have a portfolio and be able to demonstrate examples of video and graphic assets for various marketing channels, including websites and social media. You will also be able to demonstrate strategic thinking - in this role you will have a big job ahead of you to help create a visual brand identity and therefore experience, the ability to suggest ideas, and communicate them across all areas of the business will be required. Any experience with technical, B2B industries translating complex technical information into understandable and compelling content is advantageous. This role will be based 5 days a week at their offices in Guildford with on-site parking and great facilities.
