Enterprise Architect- Integration Architecture
We are seeking an Enterprise Architect - Integration Architecture to lead the development of strategic technology direction, reusable patterns, and architectural standards across our integration domain.
As part of the Strategic Architecture team, you'll play a pivotal role in defining and delivering long-term business and digital capabilities. You'll work across both technology and operational domains, influencing investment decisions, mentoring architects, and engaging senior stakeholders across government and internationally.This is a high-impact role where your leadership will directly shape how our client delivers integrated, sustainable, and future-ready services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of integration architecture strategy, vision, and roadmaps.
- Inspire and guide architects across mixed grades and backgrounds.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape business and technology strategy.
- Identify and exploit emerging technologies through innovation pilots and proofs of concept.
- Define and maintain architectural standards and reusable patterns.
- Assure solution designs for consistency, sustainability, and strategic alignment.
- Contribute to investment cases and whole-life costing for business and IT change.
- Provide architectural input into commercial tenders and supplier evaluations.
- Mentor and upskill architects
Key Skills Required:
- Proven experience in enterprise or domain-level architecture within integration.
- A track record of leading architecture teams and mentoring others.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Experience in setting architectural guardrails and driving adoption.
- Civil Service experience required
- Ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
In return, you will receive the opportunity to support a major government department. The possibility to work on a 6-month paying up to £850 p/day (in scope of IR35).
