Financial Controller
Your new company An innovative, fast-growing technology business is looking to appoint a Fractional Financial Controller to join its senior leadership team and support the next phase of growth. As this business is in its early stage, this role could be completed in a part-time capacity.Your new role Key responsibilities include:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting activities
- Prepare monthly board and management reporting packs
- Develop and maintain financial models and project costing frameworks
- Monitor project performance and analyse actual versus forecast costs
- Manage cash flow, working capital and financial controls
- Support commercial decision-making through financial analysis
- Oversee relationships with external accountants and service providers
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and operational efficiency
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant
- Previous Financial Controller / Manager leadership experience
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting expertise
- Experience operating within a growing VC / PE backed technology business
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Commercially aware with a hands-on approach
- Comfortable working autonomously within a fast-paced business
