Financial Controller

Your new company An international, private equity-backed technology and data business is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join its finance leadership team on an 18-month fixed-term basis. Operating across multiple international markets, the organisation is currently investing heavily in growth, reporting capabilities, systems enhancement and financial transformation. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in maintaining strong financial control while supporting ongoing improvements across the finance function.Your new role This is a broad and hands-on financial control position with responsibility for group reporting, statutory compliance, audit management and team leadership within a complex international environment.What you'll need to succeed

• Ownership of the group consolidation and monthly reporting process.
• Preparation and review of management accounts and group financial reporting.
• Oversight of statutory reporting, audit deliverables and regulatory compliance.
• Managing relationships with external auditors, advisers and other key stakeholders.
• Leading and developing a small finance team.
• Partnering with wider finance and business teams to improve reporting and decision support.
• Driving process improvements, automation initiatives and finance transformation projects.
