Financial Controller

Ready to step up into a high-impact Financial Controller role? A leading data & technology division is looking for a sharp, commercially minded finance professional to gain financial control, forecasting and performance insight across a multi-million pound business.Your new role

• Lead financial control, management accounting and divisional reporting
• Act as the primary Finance Business Partner to senior stakeholders
• Own forecasting, budgeting, scenario modelling, and KPI reporting.
• Review complex revenue recognition under US GAAP
• Oversee month-end close, key judgements, reconciliations and controls
• Manage and develop a team of five finance professionals
• Support system improvements, data accuracy and MI enhancements
• Act as a key contact for internal and external audit processes

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA (or equivalent) qualified
• Strong commercial mindset and excellent stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading or developing junior team members (must have experience managing more than 3)
• Confident working with ambiguity, complex contracts and judgemental areas
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
