Forecasting Analyst

Your Role

In this position, you'll play a key part in transforming data into meaningful insight that supports smarter decision-making across the organisation. You'll use data, technology and analytical techniques to build and refine forecasting models that help create a more predictable and efficient business. You'll be joining a wider insight and performance function that delivers analysis, research and business intelligence to support operational and strategic priorities.

You'll work closely with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring forecasts reflect business needs and evolving market conditions. You'll also stay informed about emerging trends in data tools, analytical methods and forecasting innovation to help strengthen the organisation's insight capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, validate and interpret data to produce accurate and actionable forecasts.
  • Build, refine and maintain forecasting models to support operational and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure forecasts align with business objectives.
  • Communicate insights clearly and effectively, helping teams understand forecast outputs and their implications.
  • Monitor forecasting accuracy and continuously improve modelling approaches.
  • Keep up to date with new data tools, analytical techniques and forecasting methodologies.
  • Contribute to a broader insight function focused on performance management, customer understanding and business intelligence.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in forecasting modelling and accuracy measurement.
  • Solid understanding of forecasting methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools such as Power BI, Python, and Excel.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful insight.
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
