Functional UAT and Integration Test Lead

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Functional UAT and Integration Test Lead with a strong background in banking regulatory reporting. This is a hands-on role focused on end-to-end data testing, UAT execution, and integration validation across multiple test cycles and cutovers. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring data quality, regulatory accuracy, and production readiness.

* Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid - 2 to 3 days on site) * Daily Rate: £250 per day (PAYE via Umbrella only) * Contract Length: Until 30/09/2026 * Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and execute Functional UAT and Integration Testing across multiple test phases and cycles. * Perform end-to-end data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and post-load checks. * Analyse requirements and design documents to create detailed test scenarios and test cases. * Manage test execution, defect logging, retesting, and participation in defect triage. * Support test planning, entry/exit criteria, Go/No-Go decisions, and test reporting. * Maintain RTM, RAID logs, and provide updates to Test Lead / Test Manager and governance forums. * Provide UAT, regression, and ELS support, including demos and knowledge transfer documentation

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a UAT / Integration Test Lead within banking or financial services. * Strong background in bank regulatory reporting. * Hands-on experience with data testing, large datasets, ETL, reconciliation, and source-to-target mapping. * Solid understanding of UAT, Integration Testing, defect management, and validation processes. * Ability to work independently, proactively identifying and escalating risks and data issues. * BPSS eligibility required
