Global Account Director (Remote)

Our client, a global provider of Tax & Compliance solutions, are looking to recruit an experienced, driven Global Account Director to join their growing team. Working on a remote contract (with the opportunity to travel to meet with key clients when required), this is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate.

Our client have been established for 50 years and boast over 100,000 customers in 100+ countries - including the majority of the Fortune 500. The company's scalable IT-driven solutions meet the demands of an evolving/complex regulatory landscape, and they offer products unparalleled across their competitors. Due to their YOY growth and influx of industry-changing products to be imminently launched into the market, they are seeking the perfect candidate to develop new business with global clients, in addition to increasing/diversifying spend of their existing client base (joining a small team of 3 FTE already working on this basis). In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and executing a strategic plan to identify and grow sales opportunities globally
- Selling and promoting the company's SaaS-based products and services to accounts in the Financial and Insurance verticals
- Delivering profitable new business revenue growth whilst meeting and exceeding revenue targets/quotas
- Building and managing a balanced pipeline, driving new business alongside existing account growth
- Managing complex, large-scale enterprise sales cycles and executing late-stage deals with a high degree of success
- Maintaining accurate and detailed pipeline data in company CRM
- Leveraging AI tools to identify patterns in account activity, prioritising outreach, and streamlining reporting and pipeline management
- Building year-over-year consistency in performance and accountability across multiple sales approaches
- Taking full ownership of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process

It is expected that you will inherit c/10-12 large client accounts (each client a minimum of £1m ARR), with the additional focus of winning new logo's to secure global agreements.

In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:

- Minimum of 5+ years of corporate sales experience, including 5+ years selling to large Financial Services organisations (within a SaaS environment)- Demonstrable success in selling large enterprise opportunities ($250K+) with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage Senior Executives
- Proven targeting, prospecting, and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue quotas
- Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.com, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Comfortable using AI-powered sales tools to enhance prospecting, forecasting, and customer engagement
- Ability to travel moderately (less than 50%) domestically and internationally for client meetings/events
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal - with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and driven to exceed targets

- Uncapped commission structure (realistic OTE: £210,000 - double base)
