Group Financial Controller

We are now exclusively partnering with the recruitment of a Group Financial Controller to lead our finance function and support the next phase of their growth journey.
Your Impact
As Group FC, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations-partnering with the CFO and FP&A Manager to deliver strategic insights and robust financial control. You'll lead a talented team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure our reporting, compliance, and systems are best-in-class.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Group Finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
 - Own monthly management accounts, statutory reporting, and audit processes.
 - Deliver accurate cash flow forecasting and optimise working capital.
 - Partner on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
 - Oversee finance systems and transactional processes, ensuring strong controls and KPIs.
 - Build trusted relationships with auditors, lenders, and private equity stakeholders.
 - Support M&A activity, systems upgrades, and finance transformation initiatives.
 
About You
- ACA/ACCA qualified with Group FC experience in businesses with £50m+ revenue.
 - Proven leadership of finance teams (15+ people).
 - Strong technical knowledge: UK GAAP (FRS 102) essential; IFRS desirable.
 - Experience in private equity-backed environments is a strong advantage.
 - Hands-on expertise in reporting, audit, and cash management.
 - Change-oriented, with a track record of systems integration and process improvement.
 - Excellent communicator, able to influence across all levels of the business.
