**INSIDE IR35** **HYBRID WORKING** Our client is currently underway with an organisation-wide transformation programme that will implement technology strategies, plans and services that are secure, resilient, future proofed and capable of enabling digital transformation.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT leader to join on an interim basis who will have key responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of several teams including Applications, Infrastructure, Service Management and Workforce Technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Applications, Infrastructure and Service Management functions, ensuring delivery against performance targets and service level agreements.
- Oversee the management and development of the application's estate, including on-prem and cloud (Azure) systems.
- Establish and maintain effective operational processes, controls and performance frameworks.
- Manage key third party IT operational suppliers, ensuring service quality, value for money and contractual compliance.
- Provide strong, empowering leadership to technical and operational teams, ensuring the development of skills and capabilities required for current and future needs.
Key Skills Required
- Demonstrable track record of operational IT delivery services such as Applications, Infrastructure and Service management
- Act as the Technical SME
- Contract management, contract negotiation, and performance management of third parties.
- Proven experience with IT service management frameworks and best practice (e.g. ITIL)
- Strong stakeholder engagement across all levels, including senior leadership and external partners.
- Understanding of architectural principles in a similar estate
