IT Solutions Analyst

Your new company Hays are partnering with a public sector organisation to recruit two application support analysts on a permanent basis. The salary is c£40,000 + excellent benefits and the role is offered on a hybrid basis, typically two days out of the Bristol office.

Your new role & w hat you'll need to succeed In the role, you will join the Applications and Solutions team providing knowledge to the organisation in relation to IT solutions, and adopting emerging technology. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for designing innovative new solutions around emerging technologies, managing existing core internal applications and be responsible for system, data and AI integration across the organisation. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle for business / application solutions and working with wider project teams to deliver this.

You will most likely come from an IT support / infrastructure background who has moved into application, system or solution support. You'll need a good background across cloud services and infrastructure, ideally the Microsoft stack. Application support experience will be important, e.g. Power Platform / Power BI alongside integration of bespoke applications (APIs and PowerShell). Support with SQL server would also be beneficial. Managing 3rd party applications and engaging with stakeholders across the organisation is critical. You'll need to have worked in an enterprise IT environment for ideally 3 years minimum and ideally have ITIL or Microsoft Certs.
