Index Product Manager

A leading global financial markets provider is currently seeking an experienced Product Manager to join their Index business. This role will play a pivotal part in a large-scale transformation programme, modernising research capabilities and transitioning end-user developed applications into strategic enterprise-grade solutions.Job Details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 12 months
• Rate: £850-£1000pd Inside IR35 via Umbrella
• Location: London
• Hybrid: 3 days in the office

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in data product ownership, technology delivery, business analysis or application delivery within banking or financial services.
• Strong background in managing multi-year product roadmaps, aligning with strategic goals, and delivering technology-enabled transformations.
• Proven experience working across the full project lifecycle and a strong understanding of the SDLC.
• Experience transitioning research or prototypes into scalable enterprise solutions, leveraging strategic data and infrastructure.
• Ability to define product artefacts including requirements, user journeys, user stories, KPIs and success metrics, ensuring governance and quality.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders and acting as the bridge across teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex business problems, build credibility and manage expectations effectively.
• Understanding of research, operations, or indexing/fund environments is highly beneficial.
