Integration Analyst / SQL Developer (Data Integration)The opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Integration Analyst / SQL Developer to join an established Data Engineering team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in migrating a major client from a legacy system onto our core data platform - making sure everything runs smoothly, securely, and without disruption. If you enjoy solving complex data challenges and working close to real business impact, this one's for you.What you'll be doing
- Designing and building SSIS integration solutions across multiple data sources (SQL, Excel, text, XML).
- Writing T-SQL to ingest, transform, and deliver complex data safely and efficiently.
- Supporting large-scale client system migration, working closely with Project Managers and fellow Data Engineers.
- Handling ETL, automation, and data integrity across multiple environments.
- Partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders to define and deliver clean, reliable data solutions.
- Jumping in on day-to-day data engineering tasks when needed to keep delivery moving.
What we're looking forEssential
- Strong commercial experience with SQL / T-SQL
- Hands-on experience building SSIS data integration solutions
- Experience working with XML and XSD schemas
- Solid understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services
- Exposure to Power BI, SSRS, Tableau
- Scripting in C#, VB, Python, or R
- Experience working with SFTP integrations and automated file handling
