Interim Programme Manager - Governance & Change
Are you a Programme Manager who thrives on establishing order and driving delivery in complex environments? We're seeking an interim professional to lead the governance set-up and oversight for several new programmes of work with a major organisation in West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Governance Design & Implementation: Develop and embed robust governance frameworks to ensure clarity, accountability, and effective decision-making across multiple programmes.
- Planning & Delivery: Run planning workshops, create detailed delivery plans, and ensure all programmes are set up for success from day one.
- Monitoring & Facilitation: Oversee adherence to governance processes, monitor progress, and facilitate working groups to keep delivery on track.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Use your excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, driving collaboration and buy-in across teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine processes and deliver greater value throughout the programme lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in programme management, with a strong track record of designing and implementing governance structures.
- Skilled in planning, running workshops, and translating strategy into actionable plans.
- Confident facilitator, able to monitor compliance and keep teams aligned and motivated.
- Excellent communicator, adept at building relationships and driving engagement across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Regulatory experience is helpful but not essential-governance and delivery expertise are the priority.
