Interim Risk Manager - mostly remote working

Risk Refresh Project! Your new company A well-known technology-related company offers mostly remote working, to an Interim Risk Manager with RCSA project experience and experience of setting and monitoring Risk Appetite. Your new role

• 3-month assignment reviewing the current risk profile of the business.
• Updating and refreshing the Risk Register and setting and monitoring risk appetite.
• Support the Risk Manager in driving forward on a Risk Review/ RCSA
• Review and understand the current Risk Register, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
• Check the relevance of all risks and update accordingly, identify any new risks and produce a heat map and plot the risks.
• Provide a common-sense overview of the threshold of the risks and the potential/likely impact on the business, (low/high risk).
• Flag any urgent risks identified immediately.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience of delivering RCSA programmes which include risk identification workshops, control identification and key risk indicator building and tracking
• Experience of risk appetite - setting and monitoring
• Can act as trusted advisor on all things risk management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience of administrating in risk management tooling
• Experience of working in a start-up/scale-up environment is preferable but not essential.

What you'll get in return

• A mostly remote working arrangement - candidates must be resident in the UK and must be able to attend the office, which is based to the West of London if needed for occasional meetings - role also requires attending the office on the first day and last day of the assignment.
• Day rate £400-450 per day (neg) via umbrella company.
• 3 month assignment
