Java Developer - eTrading Solutions

Join a leading banking firm as a Java Developer - eTrading Solutions Job Overview: Do you have a proven track record of building high-performance solutions? • Develop scalable Java applications for complex business challenges
• Optimise and refactor existing services to improve performance and maintainability
• Translating business requirements into technical specifications
• Perform code reviews and share results with colleagues
• Lead UAT and demonstration sessions with key stakeholders

Location: (Hybrid/ London) Daily Rate:Flexible Rate Contract Length: Until Dec 2026 Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities You'll be working in the Rates and Credit markets technology team. We're a fast-paced, motivated group spread across 8 cities in 6 countries (US, Europe, Asia Pacific). Our mission is to provide cutting-edge solutions for fixed income trading services to Principal Flow Trading business divisions of the banking group. As a java developer, you'll play an important role in the growth of multi-faceted platforms.Your expertise

• Ideally, 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer, focusing on core capabilities of the language, finance sector background a plus
• Experience of building low-latency, high-throughput platforms
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to produce secure, stable and good-performing code
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
