Junior IT Support Officer

As the organisation undertakes large scale recruitment within its Customer Experience team, there is an increased need for reliable IT support to ensure new starters are equipped and operational from day one. You will be part of a fast-paced, supportive environment that values high-quality service and efficient operations.Your new role As a Junior IT Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the onboarding and equipment needs of new staff across the organisation. You will be responsible for administering and issuing new IT equipment, managing the return of devices, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring accurate records are maintained. The role may also involve setting up new starter accounts and logins to ensure smooth access to systems. This is a hands-on position ideally suited to someone with hardware support experience and a proactive, organised approach.What you'll need to succeed To excel in this role, you should have experience handling IT hardware, including device setup, troubleshooting, and equipment management. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, particularly when tracking stock and managing high volume equipment requests. You will need to feel comfortable working fully on site in Coventry and able to thrive in a busy environment with frequent onboarding activity. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a customer-focused approach will help you succeed.What you'll get in return You will receive a competitive hourly rate of approximately £14 per hour plus holiday allowance on an approximate 6-month contract.
