Job Overview
An exciting opportunity for an experienced and hands-on KDB Developer to join a global technology team. You will work closely with front-office stakeholders, reacting quickly to business requirements while contributing to regulatory and business-driven enhancements. Prior experience with distributed systems and statistical analysis is highly desirable.
* Location: London (Hybrid) * Daily Rate: Flexible * Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities* Develop and enhance KDB/Q solutions in a fast-paced front-office environment * Collaborate with global technology teams and business stakeholders * Implement business and regulatory-driven changes * Troubleshoot complex system issues and ensure high system reliability * Contribute to technical design with a focus on code reuse and maintainability * Support automated testing and continuous integration processes
Key Requirements* Strong experience with KDB/Q * Excellent troubleshooting, unit testing, and problem-solving skills * Technical design expertise focused on maintainability and reusable code * Experience with Java / JavaEE * Exposure to JSCRIPT and Web UI technologies (big plus) * Knowledge of equities and equities trading flows (big plus) * Familiarity with Azure, Fitnesse, automated testing tools, GitLab & ServiceNow (plus)
