A client of mine within Higher Education is currently looking for a Linux Endpoint Security Engineer with a strong background supporting Linux desktop / End-User endpoints environments.
To be successful, you will demonstrate practical experience of using Linux, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint together within a production environment.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience supporting Linux desktop/end-user endpoint environments.
- Hands-on experience managing Linux devices through Microsoft Intune.
- Strong experience deploying and configuring Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on Linux.
- Ability to integrate Linux, Intune and Defender into a secure endpoint management solution.
- Experience onboarding and managing Linux devices within an enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with wider Microsoft Security and Endpoint Management technologies.
- Strong understanding of Endpoint Security, compliance and vulnerability management.
- Experience with Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Knowledge of synthetic device objects within Microsoft Endpoint management environments.
- Experience with Vulnerability Management tools.
- Flexibility to go on-site 1 day a week in London
Nice to Have:
- Available immediately
- Experience working within a Managed SOC or enterprise security environment.
- Understanding of endpoint detection, vulnerability remediation and compliance controls.
