Marketing Automation Manager

Your new company My client are a leading professional services organisation offering expert recruitment solutions across multiple industries. Due to ongoing digital transformation, we are recruiting a Global Marketing Automation Specialist to head-up a leads project in Salesforce Marketing Cloud on an 18-month contract, working hybrid from offices in central London. Your new role As Global Marketing Automation Specialist, you will jointly lead and develop a global project and subsequent roll-out of an enhanced lead capture and passing process in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will:

  • Design and maintain scalable SFMC architecture for multi-channel automations
  • Build and optimise Cloud Pages for dynamic content and custom functionality
  • Develop and maintain SQL-based data extensions and automation scripts
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in journeys, automations and integrations
  • Support global regions with testing and roll-out of new functionality, remaining hands-on with QA checks and 'go-live'

What you'll need to succeed You will have extensive experience building Marketing Automations in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with an in-depth understanding of Marketing Campaign processes and requirements - ideally including familiarity with B2B leads journeys/sales funnels. ~Your experience will also include:

  • Working with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficient in SFMC modules: Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio
  • Strong knowledge of AMPscript and SQL for data manipulation
  • Experience with API integrations and troubleshooting complex workflows
  • Understanding of lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and personalisation strategies
  • Familiarity with GDPR and data compliance in marketing automation
  • Ability to diagnose technical issues and implement fixes under time pressure
  • Strong data analysis skills for campaign optimisation

What you'll get in return You will receive a salary of up to £55,000 per annum for this 18-month contract. You will also be eligible for a corporate benefits package including a pension scheme, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, and other flexible benefits. You will work on a hybrid basis, requiring 2-3 days per week in central London offices. There will also be some flexibility required/given in the role to accommodate global working when rolling out to different timezones.
