Office Location: Hays Triton Street Office, NW1
Fixed Term Contract - 18 Months
This role will benefit from our Hays Balanced Working agreement so will be based in Hays London Triton Street Office and from home. There will be occasional travel to our offices in other locations, as and when required.

Role Objectives:
We are seeking a Global Marketing Automation Specialist to co-lead the development and global roll-out of an enhanced lead capture and lead passing process.
This role will be instrumental in the delivery of this global initiative and requires strong technical aptitude combined with marketing know-how to deliver.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a strong technical mindset.
Key Result Areas: Skills and Competencies
Platform architecture & development
- Design and maintain scalable SFMC architecture for multi-channel automation.
- Build and optimise Cloud Pages for dynamic content and custom functionality.
- Strong understanding of using Cloud Pages for lead capture and passing to business sources.
- Develop and maintain SQL-based data extensions and automation scripts.
Data governance & quality
- Manage data hygiene, schema design, and synchronisation processes.
- Implement compliance controls at a technical level.
Performance & troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in journeys, automations, and integrations.
Technical enablement
- Serve as SFMC technical SME for internal teams.
- Document processes, best practices, and provide technical training where needed.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
Skills and Competencies
Collaboration
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Technical expertise
- Proficient in SFMC modules: Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio.
- Strong knowledge of AMPscript and SQL for data manipulation.
- Experience with API integrations and troubleshooting complex workflows.
Marketing knowledge
- Understanding of lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and personalisation strategies.
- Familiarity with GDPR and data compliance in marketing automation.
Analytical & problem-solving
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and implement fixes under time pressure.
- Strong data analysis skills for campaign optimisation.
