NPPV3 DevOps Engineer Senior

Hays are now looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for one of our local clients:

• £550 p/d Inside IR35
• 6 month+ contract
• Remote with occasional meetings in London
• Candidates must have NPPV3 and SC Clearance

In the role, you will be responsible for the engineering, deployment, and operational support of AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
• Develop and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Strong AWS experience with:
  • EC2
  • EKS (Kubernetes)
  • RDS
  • Route 53
  • VPC Networking
  • S3
• Hands-on DevOps tooling experience:
  • Jenkins
  • Git
  • CI/CD
  • Docker
  • Helm
• Implement and manage cloud security controls including IAM, encryption, and network security
• Support operational activities and platform reliability within the DevOps operating model

Essential: AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Git, CI/CD, Helm, cloud security, and infrastructure automation experience.

Desirable / Non-Essential skills:

• Experience with frontend scripting languages such as Java and Python
• Experience with other areas of the product lifecycle such as requirements gathering, service design, etc.
• Experience with configuration of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.
