Network Engineer

Network Security Engineer - Cisco ISE, DNAC, TrustSec

£550 per day (Inside IR35)

London (remote with ad-hoc on site)

A client of mine is currently looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to support a large enterprise environment, working on secure network access, segmentation, and automation initiatives. This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA Center.

Key Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) & Cisco DNA Center within enterprise-level network environments.
• Solid experience creating & managing ISE policies via Cisco DNA Center (DNAC)
• Proven experience implementing TrustSec and Security Group Tags (SGT)
• Expertise in 802.1X authentication, RADIUS, TACACS+, and NAC solutions
• Comfortable integrating Active Directory (AD) with ISE for user-based access control
• Hands-on with Plug and Play (PnP) deployments for Cisco switches
• Knowledge of Python, REST APIs, or Ansible for automation
• Experience driving network automation using templates, APIs, or scripting
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Available immediately
• Flexibility to go on site if /when needed
• Cisco Certified (CCIE / CCNP)
• Experience within large enterprise or secure environments preferred.
