PMO Lead

A leading financial services organisation is currently seeking an experienced PMO Lead to support a large-scale Anti-Financial Crime transformation programme. This role will operate at programme level, providing hands-on leadership across governance, planning, financial control and delivery oversight to help the organisation meet regulatory commitments.Job Details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: Initial 6 months
• Rate: £550-£630pd Inside IR35 via Umbrella
• Location: London
• Hybrid: 3 days in the office

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience operating as a Senior PMO Lead on complex regulatory, risk, compliance or Anti-Financial Crime programmes in banking or financial services.
• Strong capability in programme governance, RAID management, milestone planning, dependency oversight and delivery assurance.
• Experience producing audit-ready artefacts, evidence packs, steering committee materials and high-quality management reporting.
• Excellent financial management skills, including budget tracking, forecasting, cost control and variance analysis.
• Ability to build and maintain a programme-level plan, including critical paths, resource plans, risks and interdependencies.
• Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner to Programme Directors and change leadership.
• Able to lead, coach and uplift PMO resources while driving high standards, transparency and accountability.
• Strong digital literacy across MS Office, and experience with PPM tools such as Clarity, Planview or ServiceNow.
